Musical fun
Although I have a large number of instruments, the only ones that I will play solo in public are my 12 string guitar which I use to accompany my singing of folk songs and humorous ditties, and my North American Indian flutes with which I like to express my more soulful self.
There are a number that I am happy to play in groups - African Djembe drum, clarinet, and any number of percussion instruments. I am also having lessons on the Celtic Lever Harp and who knows what I might achieve on it!
But I do like to play with music and I like to help others to play and have fun. I am happy both to bring along a range of instruments for people to have a go, and to co-ordinate some fun music making. If it’s your wish, you might be able to get me to play something solo as well! If the idea of having some musical fun at your party or other gathering appeals to you and you would like to explore the possibilities, please contact me. I’d love to get involved.
